Afyon Kocatepe University (AKÜ) Electrical Engineering Department Head Prof. Dr. Fatih Onur HOCAOĞLU and undergraduate student Yusuf ÖZEL, President of the Electrical Club, visited Major General Dr. Osman ALP, Director General of Mapping, in his office.
During the visit, they discussed AKÜ’s technical projects and potential collaborations with the Ministry of National Defense’s General Directorate of Mapping to support the professional development of young engineering candidates. Prof. Dr. HOCAOĞLU provided information about the department’s educational and research activities, while Yusuf ÖZEL introduced the Electrical Club’s projects and activities.
Major General Dr. Osman ALP offered career development advice to the students and wished the young engineering candidates success. Major General Dr. ALP presented his guests with a 1/250,000 horizontal scale physical relief map of Afyonkarahisar. At the end of the visit, a commemorative photo was taken, and our department head, Prof. Dr. Fatih Onur HOCAOĞLU, thanked Major General Dr. Osman ALP for his valuable advice.
